Your order may be subject to de minimis threshold* (DMT) import duty/tax/customs fees upon arrival at your destination port (some ports also require I.D. forms to be completed such as the U.S.^). For U.S. Customers these duties are collected in the checkout, and nothing further will be charged upon import of your parcel.
These charges/requirements are not included in the price and are not the responsibility of New Zealand Mint, as per our Terms of Service. This information is also available on our Shipping Policy page and posted on the 'Delivery' tab of all product pages.
Please take care to order items below the threshold if extra fees are of concern to you, as different countries have different DMTs.
You should contact your local customs office for further information on applicable duties, taxes, restrictions, fees and requirements before ordering if you are unsure what these may be.
Alternatively, you may find this website useful, as it tables different DMTs for different countries, especially B. CUSTOMS EFFICIENCY sections 10a and 10b.

*A de minimis threshold (DMT) is the maximum dollar value (in local currency) of any single goods shipment entering a country before additional import charges will apply.
^Note: U.S. citizens who purchase goods may be subject to a formal customs entry and will need to complete a CBP 5106 form to receive goods if contacted - even as a private citizen due to U.S. CBP regulations. In 2025 the De Minimis threshold was removed, and we began to collect duties upfront in the checkout.
If you are a U.S. Customer and have been charged tariffs in the checkout, you will not be charged anything further upon entry of your parcel.
